To formally request the Chamber of Deputies and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research to promote and fund the creation of Bachelor's degree programs taught entirely in English at the University of Luxembourg. This offering should cover strategic academic fields, specifically including a Bachelor in Educational Sciences to train future teachers for the international public school system locally.

Training for Local Teaching Staff: The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg has significantly expanded its network of international public schools offering English-language streams. However, there is currently no initial public university training in English in Luxembourg to prepare future primary and secondary school teachers for these institutions. Creating a Bachelor in Educational Sciences in English would directly address the structural shortage of locally trained, qualified teaching personnel. Talent Retention and Educational Continuity: Graduates from international secondary streams in Luxembourg face an extremely limited offer of English-taught Bachelor's degrees at the University of Luxembourg. This situation forces a large portion of our young talent to go abroad to pursue higher education, running the risk that they will not return to settle in the country. Alignment with the Labor Market: Both the educational sector and the key economic pillars of the country (financial sector, technology, research, and international organizations) operate daily in English. Offering English-taught higher education at the Bachelor's level will better align local university education with the actual demands of the Luxembourgish economy. Strengthening Social Cohesion and Attractiveness: Allowing students to complete their entire academic journey in Luxembourg strengthens the roots of resident families and consolidates the position of the University of Luxembourg as a modern, inclusive, and globally oriented academic hub.
