Purpose of the petition
To protect children and road users, we must take the driving licences of those who prove a lack of judgement and self control, such as those convicted of violent crimes, and crimes related to narcotics or to drunkenness.
Reason for the petition
If our highways and police were the best in the world, our roads would still be dangerous because of the people who use them. We can reduce the number of fatalities among pedestrians and responsible road users by reducing the number of irresponsible and incompetent drivers. A signature to this petition indicates that those convicted of violent offenses, or other crimes tending to indicate poor judgement and impulse control such as those related to narcotics or drunkenness, should not be on the road.

Title of the petition: Retirer le permis de conduire aux criminels violents Aim of the petition: Afin de protéger les enfants et les usagers de la route, nous devrions retirer leur permis de conduire à ceux qui font preuve de manque de jugement et de maîtrise de soi, notamment aux personnes condamnées pour des délits violents, des infractions liées aux stupéfiants ou pour ivresse. Motivation of the general interest of the petition: Si nos autoroutes et notre police étaient les meilleures au monde, nos routes seraient toujours dangereuses à cause des usagers. Nous pouvons réduire le nombre de décès parmi les piétons et les usagers responsables de la route en réduisant le nombre de conducteurs irresponsables et incompétents. En signant cette pétition, vous indiquez que les personnes reconnues coupables d'infractions violentes ou d'autres crimes témoignant d'un manque de jugement et de maîtrise de leurs impulsions, comme ceux liés à la drogue ou à l'ivresse, ne devraient pas circuler sur la route.
