Purpose of the petition
Es darf nicht sein, dass etwas heiklere Dokumente zu einem großen Teil geschwärzt werden, ehe sie vom Außenministerium für die Forschung freigegeben werden, und das aus Gründen der Staatsräson.
Reason for the petition
Die Zeiten von Louis XIII und Richelieu, als jede Politik aus Gründen der Staatsräson betrieben wurde, sind vorbei. Auch der Gaullismus ist nur noch ein Schatten seiner selbst, und das ist auch gut so. Wissenschaftliche Arbeit braucht Transparenz und Offenlegung der Dokumente. Früher oder später kommt das meiste sowieso ans Tageslicht. Geheimniskrämerei entspricht nicht den Standards einer aufgeklärten, modernen Demokratie, sondern ist eher ein Zeichen für eine dilettantische Misswirtschaft.
