Am Sënn vun der Nohaltegkeet, a fir d'Reesen méi bequem ze maachen, proposéiert dës Petitioun d'Validitéitszäit op 10 Joer ze setzen. FR : Le passeport luxembourgeois n'est actuellement valable que pour une durée maximale de 5 ans. Dans un esprit de développement durable, et pour rendre les voyages plus confortables, cette pétition propose de fixer la durée de validité à 10 ans.
Reason for the petition
LU: An villen aneren Länner ass den Pass 10 Joer valabel. Virwat och net zu Letzebuerg? Manner Päss missten dann gedréckt gin. Falls de Besoin trotzdem sollt beim een oder aneren Bierger do sin, fir méi fréi den Pass ersat ze kréihen (zB inkompatible VISAen etc), dann kann een nach emmer eng Prozedur virgesin, wou een op Demande den Pass méi fréi ersat kritt. FR: Dans de nombreux autres pays, le passeport est valable pour 10 ans. Pourquoi pas au Luxembourg? Il faudrait alors imprimer moins de passeports. Dans le cas, où un citoyen aurait quand même besoin de remplacer plus tôt son passeport (p.ex. dû à des visas incompatibles entre pays), une procédure pourrait être prévue permettant une demande prématurée de remplacement du passeport.
