OBJECT : Zurzeit nimmt das Abgeordnetenmandat 20 Wochenstunden politischen Urlaub in Anspruch. So mancher Bürgermeister/in hat bereits 40 Wochenstunden politischen Urlaub in seiner Gemeinde. Dies ergibt dann 60 Wochenstunden. In Luxemburg liegt die Wochenarbeitszeit auf 40 Stunden. Ziel der Petition ist es die politische Arbeit auf 40 Wochenstunden zu begrenzen. So darf ein Bürgermeister/in, welche/r bereits in seiner Gemeinde laut Gesetz 40. Wochenstunden politischen Urlaub von gesetzeswegen zusteht, keine weiteren Aktivitäten annehmen. Dies ermöglicht dann auch politische Arbeit auf mehr Menschen zu verteilen.

OBJECT : L'objet de cette pétition est d'abolir définitivement le système du congé collectif obligatoire au Luxembourg, notamment dans les secteurs du bâtiment, du génie civil et des installateurs sanitaires. Le but poursuivi est de remplacer ce mécanisme rigide par un système de gestion flexible des congés annuels, basé sur le libre choix des salariés et le libre accord avec leurs employeurs, afin de moderniser le marché du travail et de garantir la liberté individuelle des travailleurs, et faire en sorte que ces secteurs ne s'arrêtent pas pendant l'année.

OBJECT : This petition calls upon the Government and the Chamber of Deputies: to raise the tax-deductible ceiling applicable to employees' personal contributions to supplementary occupational pension schemes from EUR1,200 to at least EUR4,500 per year; and to provide for the periodic adjustment of this ceiling so that its real value is not progressively eroded by inflation. This increase would align the second-pillar ceiling with the EUR4,500 ceiling now applicable to individual third-pillar retirement savings plans.
