PURPOSE : Entry fees for Luxembourg private pension plans (Pillars II and III) can reach 4%, and management fees up to 1.5%, despite many funds merely tracking or underperforming indices. These costs erode long-term returns. Parliament should cap entry fees and limit annual management fees to 1% (100 bps) to improve fairness and attractiveness.

PURPOSE : This petition calls for the establishment of a high-capital, one-time birth grant awarded upon the birth of a second child and each additional child within a household residing in Luxembourg. The goal is to remove the financial barriers associated with growing a family through massive and targeted support, specifically enabling access to property ownership and long-term financial security for children.

PURPOSE : 20 or 25 years ago, many persons and organizations were opposed to genetically modified organisms (GMO); the result was a prudent approach concerning human and livestock food and pharmaceutics. Until now, genetically modified organisms were prohibited in normal human food. Only in livestock food, pharmaceutics and non-food applications they were allowed, but a clear indication was required. Without any mandate of the population (no party program, no referendum, nor any other questioning of the citizens), our EU representants agreed on diminishing restrictions on GMOs, and above all, abolished the labeling requirement of products containing GMOs. The petition calls on our country to oppose this agreement and refrain from transposing this directive into national law.»).
