Petitions to the Chamber of Deputies

OBJECT : We ask the Luxembourg authorities to require air conditioning, or an equivalent effective cooling solution, in all schools. As temperatures rise, excessive heat in classrooms affects children's health, concentration and ability to learn. Every child deserves a safe, comfortable and effective learning environment. This petition calls for clear national temperature standards and urgent investment so that schools can remain open and learning can continue safely during periods of high heat.

OBJECT : La franchise de 500 euros sur les bénéfices de spéculation est inchangée depuis de nombreuses années. Avec l'inflation et la démocratisation des investissements, notamment en actions et cryptomonnaies, ce montant est devenu dérisoire. Nous demandons respectueusement d'augmenter cette franchise à au moins 2.000 euros par an, afin de simplifier la vie des petits investisseurs résidents et de mieux refléter la réalité économique actuelle.

OBJECT : Our dogs are part of the family - they shouldn't be forced to wait alone outside the bakery, the butcher's or the gelateria. Problems: - Animals left outside are sometimes stolen - During heatwaves, being left tied up outside is dangerous for them. - Queues prolong the wait and cause stress for owners. The proposal - To allow dogs on a lead and under their owner's supervision into local shops (bakeries, butchers, ice-cream parlours, grocery shops), except in areas expressly prohibited for health or safety reasons - Introduce simple and practical rules: leashes compulsory; dogs permitted only if they do not disrupt service; no entry to preparation areas without a barrier; owners liable for any damage - Raise awareness amongst shopkeepers and the public about responsible behaviour (picking up after their dogs, keeping them on a leash, muzzling them if necessary)
