We ask the Luxembourg authorities to require air conditioning, or an equivalent effective cooling solution, in all schools. As temperatures rise, excessive heat in classrooms affects children's health, concentration and ability to learn. Every child deserves a safe, comfortable and effective learning environment. This petition calls for clear national temperature standards and urgent investment so that schools can remain open and learning can continue safely during periods of high heat.

Classrooms that become too hot are not suitable learning environments. Excessive heat can affect children's health, concentration, comfort and ability to learn, while also making teaching conditions more difficult for school staff. As temperatures continue to rise, Luxembourg must ensure that schools remain safe, welcoming and effective places of learning. Clear temperature standards and effective cooling solutions, including air conditioning where necessary, are needed so that education can continue safely during periods of high heat.
