Purpose of the petition
The Luxembourg financial sector holds one of the largest amounts of U.S. Treasury debt in the European Union. This represents a significant concentration of risk for our national economy, whose stability is deeply linked to the health of its financial sector. We urge a review of this exposure.
Reason for the petition
We call on the Parliament and relevant regulators to encourage and facilitate a reduction in the Luxembourg financial sector's excessive exposure to U.S. debt and a diversification into a broader range of secure and sustainable assets. This is essential to protect our national economy, increase its resilience against external financial shocks, and secure our future prosperity.

Nous demandons un examen de cette exposition. Motivation of the general interest of the petition: Nous appelons le gouvernement et les régulateurs concernés à encourager et à faciliter une réduction de l'exposition excessive du secteur financier luxembourgeois à la dette américaine et une diversification vers une gamme plus large d'actifs sûrs et durables.
