L'intérêt général de cette pétition est de favoriser l'intégration des conjoints étrangers mariés à des citoyens luxembourgeois en réduisant les obstacles administratifs. En exemptant ces conjoints du test de langue, cela pourrait faciliter leur accès au marché du travail européen, réduisant ainsi le taux de chômage. De plus, cela contribuerait à renforcer les liens familiaux et favoriserait l'égalité des opportunités en offrant des avantages aux conjoints concernés.
