Purpose of the petition
Le but est de retrouver d'éventuels avoirs dormants: comptes oubliés, voire inconnus de nous (p.ex. assurance-vie conclue par un tiers mais dont on est bénéficiaire). Il permettrait aussi d'identifier des cas de fraude (usurpation d'identité). NB un système similaire existe en Belgique. Un retour d'expérience serait utile. Il serait aussi utile d'avoir un tel registre au niveau européen et pas limité aux acteurs nationaux.
Reason for the petition
Les avoirs dormants représentent des sommes énormes (plusieurs milliards au niveau européen). Il faut de la transparence sur ces avoirs dormants afin que chacun puisse récupérer ce qui lui est du.
