Petitions to the Chamber of Deputies

PURPOSE : To request that the Luxembourg authorities and the National Employment Agency (ADEM) improve the monitoring of jobseekers and strengthen oversight of employer practices, in order to ensure that job referrals, interviews and Job Days are coherent, transparent and effective, and that publicly funded training programmes are accessible without requiring upfront payment.

PURPOSE : A mandatory vehicle liability insurance should be introduced for certain electric scooters that either weigh more than 25 kg (and can reach a speed of more than 14 km/h) or - for scooters under 25 kg - have a maximum design speed of more than 25 km/h. The regulation should apply to higher-powered, heavier scooters, and using them without the required insurance could result in a fine. Which scooters should the regulation apply to? Scooters weighing under 25 kg: if their design speed exceeds 25 km/h. Scooters weighing more than 25 kg: if their design speed exceeds 14 km/h.

PURPOSE : Die Petition fordert: 1. Die Abschaffung des automatischen Aufstiegs bis zur 5ème sowie die Wiedereinführung der Möglichkeit des Sitzenbleibens auf Grundlage klarer, objektiver und pädagogisch sinnvoller Kriterien. 2. Das Lernen eines einheitlichen ABC-Systems in der Grundschule, damit alle Kinder in Luxemburg die gleiche Basis-Alphabetisierung erhalten. Die Maßnahme ist notwendig, um Klarheit, Gleichberechtigung und sprachliche Stabilität zu sichern. 3. Eine strukturelle Entlastung des Bildungsministeriums, damit das Bildungsressort künftig nicht mehr mit zusätzlichen Ressorts verbunden ist und eine klare, langfristige Bildungsstrategie ermöglicht wird.
