Petitions to the Chamber of Deputies

OBJECT : The petitioners ask the Government and the Chamber of Deputies to introduce a moratorium, meaning a temporary ban, on the sale, promotion and use in places open to the public in Luxembourg of consumer smart glasses fitted with a camera or AI-based visual analysis. The moratorium would stay in place until a legal framework is adopted that effectively protects people who are filmed, recorded or analysed without their knowledge. Assistive technology used by blind, partially sighted or disabled people, and specialist professional equipment used for a defined purpose, would be excluded from the moratorium, including their use. The petitioners also ask the Government to press, at European Union level, for common rules that protect people from these devices.

OBJECT : The purpose of this petition is to strengthen consumer rights in Luxembourg by introducing into the Consumer Code a strict principle of contractual and financial reciprocity vis-à-vis businesses and professionals (specifically across the banking, insurance, telecommunications, energy, and e-commerce sectors). The objective is to grant users and consumers the legal authority to charge standard administrative/handling fees or obtain automatic, regulated compensation when a persistent technical malfunction, digital interface outage, or processing failure attributable to the service provider forces the user to perform time-consuming manual procedures to fulfill contractual obligations or assert their rights. The petition also calls for the mandatory, automatic waiver of all ancillary fees, reminder costs, or penalties claimed by a provider whenever a delay or complication stems from an outage or bug in its own digital systems.

OBJECT : Par la présente, nous souhaitons attirer l'attention sur l'intérêt de créer un parc VTT accessible au public dans la forêt au Luxembourg. Différents Trails bleu, rouge, noir adaptés aux différents niveaux de pratique. Des Flowtrails avec des modules faciles, virage relevés, des éléments de northshore et des petits boucles/sauts, et la piste noir avec des sauts, tables ou drops plus grands, un peu comme au ski afin que tout le monde puisse choisir sans grade de difficulté.
