OBJECT : La présente pétition a pour but d'interdire la présence d'animaux de compagnie (notamment les chiens) lors des grands rassemblements publics à forte affluence au Luxembourg (fêtes foraines, marchés de Noël, kermesses d'envergure), hors chiens d'assistance. Cette mesure vise à préserver le bien-être animal face au stress sonore et à la foule, tout en garantissant la sécurité physique des animaux et des visiteurs.

OBJECT : Introduce legislation requiring employers in Luxembourg to provide clear, specific and objective justifications for every mandatory language requirement included in a job advertisement. The legislation should establish the following obligations: Job-related justification: Each mandatory language requirement must be justified by specific professional duties, such as communication with clients, colleagues, public authorities or other stakeholders. Proportional proficiency levels: Employers must justify not only the language required but also the requested proficiency level, using the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Distinction between essential and desirable skills: Languages that are useful but not essential for performing the job must be identified as desirable rather than mandatory. Transparent job advertisements: Justifications must be included directly in job descriptions, allowing applicants to understand why the specified language skills are necessary. Prevention of arbitrary requirements: Language requirements must be proportionate to the actual responsibilities of the position and must not create unjustified barriers to employment. Oversight and enforcement: Competent authorities must be empowered to examine potentially unjustified language requirements and impose proportionate sanctions for non-compliance.

OBJECT : Introduce legislation requiring employers in Luxembourg to provide specific, written and factual reasons for rejecting job applicants. The legislation should establish the following obligations: Specific feedback: Identify the professional skills, qualifications, experience or assessment results decisive in the rejection. Generic explanations must not be considered sufficient. Clear justification: Distinguish between candidates who fail to meet essential requirements and qualified candidates rejected in favour of another applicant, specifying the decisive selection criteria. Documented selection criteria: Establish selection criteria before evaluating candidates and document recruitment decisions. Record retention: Retain recruitment assessments and decisions for a legally defined period, in compliance with data protection legislation. Independent review: Allow candidates to request an independent examination where reasonable grounds exist to suspect discrimination, favouritism or other irregularities. Enforcement: Establish reasonable deadlines for providing feedback, effective oversight mechanisms and proportionate sanctions for non-compliance. The required level of detail should reflect the stage reached in the recruitment process.
