En quelque sorte appliquer le principe de Bonus-malus aussi pour qui a la totalité des points disponibles, évitant le plafond de 12 points. Privilégiant ainsi les conducteurs modèle et harmonisation européenne.

Mandatory liability insurance for certain electric scooters

PURPOSE : A mandatory vehicle liability insurance should be introduced for certain electric scooters that either weigh more than 25 kg (and can reach a speed of more than 14 km/h) or - for scooters under 25 kg - have a maximum design speed of more than 25 km/h. The regulation should apply to higher-powered, heavier scooters, and using them without the required insurance could result in a fine. Which scooters should the regulation apply to? Scooters weighing under 25 kg: if their design speed exceeds 25 km/h. Scooters weighing more than 25 kg: if their design speed exceeds 14 km/h.
