Petitions to the Chamber of Deputies

PURPOSE : The Luxembourg financial sector holds one of the largest amounts of U.S. Treasury debt in the European Union. This represents a significant concentration of risk for our national economy, whose stability is deeply linked to the health of its financial sector. We urge a review of this exposure.

PURPOSE : This petition proposes to provide more opportunities to qualify for parental leave based on evidence of long-term employment in Luxembourg. This would be decided ultimately by legislators, but the petition suggests including the following tiers as eligible for leave cover: - Employed for more than 5 of the previous 6 years (60/72 months) - Employed for more than 2.5 of the previous 3 years (representing 30/36 months) - Employed more than ~1.9 of the previous 2 years (23/24 months) In addition to the current single tier of 12 months of uninterrupted work with no more than a 7 day break. All tiers maintain the minimum threshold of employment and completion of the trial period by the start of parental leave. These laws should also apply to adoptive parents in order to foster an inclusive environment for all families and situations.

PURPOSE : Ziel dieser Petition ist es, Maßnahmen zu fordern, die jedes Verhalten von Hass und Gewalt konsequent bestrafen. Besonders in sozialen Netzwerken, in denen diese Verhaltensweisen oft ungestraft bleiben, müssen schnellere und effektivere Maßnahmen ergriffen werden. Wir fordern eine bessere Überwachung dieser Plattformen, um Menschen, die in solchen Fällen auffällig werden, zur Verantwortung zu ziehen. Es muss sichergestellt werden, dass alle Personen, die Hass und Gewalt verbreiten, eine gerechte Strafe erhalten, um zu verhindern, dass diese Taten weiterhin ungestraft bleiben. Die Verhinderung von Diskriminierung und Gewalt in der digitalen Welt ist unerlässlich, um eine friedliche und respektvolle Gesellschaft zu fördern
